I really don't get it. Not only do you believe in an imaginary creature (two actually, one being an unproven historical figure) but you also are subservient to it? What is the appeal of that? Why would you take away your own freedom to think and feel and project the control of your life onto an idea that doesn't even talk back to you?

In reality your either a slave to God or a slave to Satan. But here is the real kicker, you probably don't believe in Satan do you? They don't say he is extremely wise for nothing, do they? A child of God or a child of wrath. It's one or the other, and nothing in between. Your either a slave to sin or a slave to righteousness.

Umm, well first God is not imaginary, to correct you. Second, I am not a "slave". I have actually been given MORE freedom through God, and He doesn't control my life. He gives me direction, and I make a choice. If I choose what is bad for me, He's right there to pick me back up and put me where it's safe. If I choose what's good for me, chances are I took His advice and am now happier than I would have been. What is the appeal to you, of talking s*it about something you're just talking s*it about? Like you actually KNOW something?

I don't get it, either. In Paganism, I know I'm less than the Gods, but I can still work with Them. They're friendly supervisors, not slaveholders who can and will punish me for stepping one step out of line. I don't see how that "slave for Jesus" stuff gets one single convert.

Because you're more free than you were before. Really, you are always tied down to something. Even if you are a "good" person, there is something that runs your life. I'd rather give my life to God.

That said, God is my father, and He knows what's best for me. Trusting and obeying Him is the best thing I can do.

WE were all given free will so everyone serves something or someone. For some it is money, sex, drugs, hate, work, the list goes on. I picked God who will always be with me and faithful to me.

Because you can go to Heaven, where you can be a slave for all eternity! But you won't cry! =D

Thank you Jesus for taking away the responsibility of rational thinking. Thank you for giving us PEOPLE who tell us what to do. Thank you for blind faith, alleviating my fear of death, and being my "bestest" imaginary friend!
