Very good prices. If you want any special shots, write them down ahead of time for the photographer. Also ask about sunspot, red eye etc in editing....I found out the hard way that isnt covered in my prices...costs extra. :P
Make sure you see the portfolio though, and get references on how personable the photographer is. Nothing worse than a bossy photo person on a day you want to remember with joy.
Diamond...I hope that is the way it is when you get married, but sadly....sometimes money disappears very fast in life when you have many bills to pay AND a wedding.

about 1500 - 2000 i know it seems like a lot but as a photographer myself i know what kind of time a wedding photographer puts into the work what people aren't seeing it that the photographer is spending countless hours editing your photos you only see the photographer for a few hours so you feel like 2000 is a lot for a few hours work but what about when the photographer goes home and cant work other shoots cause they are editing your photos, most one-two people operations take about one week-two just from one wedding and usually the ones that cost more are because they have the really good software to fix your pictures and they spend a lot of time to make sure they are all perfect so if you find a really cheap one then the pics might not be as good -a great tip is to call a community college or college and ask a photography professor if one of there advanced students would be interested in photographing your wedding and you can meet with the student and ask then so see some of their work and see if it is good enough

People think that photography services are supposed to becheap because every dimwit with a camera claims to be a photographer. As an actual photographer, I believe that the prices quoted on that page are reasonable. You should always ask to see a portfolio before signing a contract though. The price will be less important if the quality of the work is on par, after all it is a wedding, something that won't be repeated if you are sure of yourself and your mate.

I got married 13 years ago and spent $1500 for about 110 proofs, our album, 2 parent FOLIOS (not albums) and some enlargements. I think the packages in your link are really cheap. Make sure you really look at the photographers portfolio, because you usually get what you pay for. Your wedding pictures are the only permanent part of your wedding. You don't want out of focus, poorly cropped photos. Good luck.

The prices aren't too bad...I paid $1200 for all day, two photogs, and I got all of my photos on cd (13 cds total!!) in high resolution with full rights to reproduce as I wanted. I was on a budget, but the photos were amazing, and not having to buy prints from the photographers saved me a fortune. I made professional albums for myself, and 4 others for family members for under $300.

I think that these sound on point. We got 1100 pictures to keep plus all of our wedding photos for our actual album (65) plus the album that was personalized with the mats for under $2000.

Very pricey. Because of the word "wedding", they seem to want to take advantage of people and charge too much.
Look in your local paper for a photographer and see his work. If he has a studio or he is on the net, chances are his prices are reflecting the advertising costs and your paying for his rent on a building.
Shop around. Do yourself a favor.

That's about right. I don't think it's to much money. It all depends on what type of quality and quantity pictures you want. You get what you pay for. I live on the east coast and 1200 is what most brides pay for pictures. Keep in mind what your budget is and how much you want to spend on pictures.. Congratulations and I hope you have a beautiful wedding and beautiful pictures. Remember a good picture says 1000 words.

They look about average compared to the photographers I looked into before getting married. Just make sure that whatever photographer you end up hiring for your wedding shows you some of there previous work and don't be afraid to ask for references. You will be putting out alot of money for your photographer and you want to make sure that you are getting your moneys worth
