Having worked as a fashion photographer in the past, the answer is most definitely "no". In fact you wouldn't be overweight if you were only 5' tall and 110 lbs.

A general rule of thumb I used when I was selecting models for most types of work is that I wanted fully grown ADULT women is to start at 100 lbs and add 2-1/2-3 pounds per inch for small framed women, 3-4 lbs for larger framed women, plus a slight modifier upward per year for age, i.e, I would expect a 25 year old model to weigh slightly more and look better carrying that weight than they would if they weighed what they did at 18.

Okay, so bottom lining it with your numbers...

A 5'5" model would typically have to weigh at least 112-115 lbs before I would even consider putting her in front of the camera. As you are younger, I would guess you would be slightly lighter, but not require it and guess what? you are.... right where you should be!!

Good job and keep up the good work, woo hoo and all that.

The only other thjinkg I would ask you is"do you take care of yourself physically", specifically if your abdominal muscles aren't well developed, you will look heavier than you are. So without going absolutely crazy with high numbers, add some sit-ups (20-30 is a nice number to start with) to your day, do a few stretches, etc. and let your body tone up a bit.

And be happy. Life is to short to worry about everyone else's image of you. A kind heart and the ability to laugh at life's weird moments will take you much farther than worrying about a little thing called "growing up" with a mirror and scale being your only measurements of self worth.

Know if you need to lose weight

Health specialist use a measure called BMI, short for Body Mass Index. Body mass index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both adult men and women. This gives a good measure of your total body fat. BMI compares your height and weight. It shows if you are underweight, at a healthy weight, or overweight.

You know how many pounds are there in 1 kg. Do not know let me help you, it is 1 kilogram = 2.20462262 pounds. Check out what your BMI is by using the BMI calculator.

http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/adult_BMI/english_bmi_calculator/bmi_calculator.htm

BMI Category
Below 18.5 Underweight
Between 18.5 - 24.9 Healthy Weight
Between 25 - 29.9 Overweight
Over 30 Obese

Look at the BMI chart to find out how much weight you need to lose to move from obese to overweight or from overweight into a healthy range. Knowing this can help you set a good weight loss goal.

Exercise! Believe me, it's the only way to have a fit body. Along with regular exercise, you may also control your food intake with Weight Loss/Hoodia sample. These will help develop firmer muscles, while you burn fats and shed off those extra pounds. Check out this site http://www.upkb.com/weightloss.php for more info.
