Flea dirt. As you pointed out, your cat has fleas. I recommend Advantage or Frontline Plus. You can get it otc at the vets office.

Hi There What I would do is ---- (the vet already saw your cat so they should give you a scrip for meds) call the vet and ask them for an Appetite Stimulants Cyproheptadine can be prescribed by the vet, or may be available OTC under the name Periactin. Ranitidine is another medication that can be helpful. It is important to discuss the use of any of these medications with your vet, especially if your cat has kidney or heart issues. Mirtazapine is another stimulant which is used to increase appetite, although there are some issues for some cats with it. There are a number of drugs (both prescription and OTC) which can be used to help increase appetite, depending on the cause of the anorexia. A quarter tablet of Pepcid AC (original formula, 10% famitodine) can be tried every 12 hours. This is an antacid medication available OTC and while it does not actually stimulate the appetite, if your cat's tummy is upset, it may help settle things down so they are interested in food again.

There is a good chance your kitty has heart worms.
This happens when cats swallow fleas while cleaning
themselves. The fleas hatch and turn into worms. Your
kitty needs to be de-wormed. Don't wait too long to get your pet to the vet.

I am not sure what they might be. Take a sample of them to your vet for identification. If they are not a parasite or fleas then you may need an exterminator. Also get your cat on a flea preventative

If these tiny curvey things are black what you are looking at is flea larvae. It could have hatched in the clothing or on kittie, you should treat your cat with with some advantage you apply a dose on the back of the neck and wash all clothing in hot water to kill the larvae.

It sounds like worms. You can look at your cats rear end. They will come out of their butt hole and you'll be able to see them. I don't mean to sound graphic but that's the only way to tell. You can buy a dewormer at the pet store and give it to them. If your cat is a long haired cat, you'll see them stuck in his fur around his anus. My cats had them and a dewormer worked well to get rid of them. Now I Am Not A Vet but I do have cats. Just look for worm medicine for cats. Oh by the way it will give them diarrhea so make sure you have plenty of litter on hand,

In response to Shadow's response below: no, they aren't heartworms. Those come from mosquitoes, not fleas. Tapeworms are what you are thinking of- intestinal worms that can be acquired in many ways, and ingesting a flea that is carrying them is one of them. Get your cat to the vet and get her treated for fleas. I couldn't tell you what you saw on your sheets, but as cats do carry some parasites that are zoonotic (as in, you can get them too) I'd get them taken care of ASAP.
