I seriously doubt it's a yeast infection, since I don't think yeast grows on necks or knees.
If there are tiny blisters (like the bumps seem wet or burst clear or thicker yellow fluid), you probably have a fungus. That's no big deal. There are a variety of over-the-counter creams. I get them occasionally, and so does my son, and with both of ours, prescription meds are the only thing that kick it. If the OTC stuff doesn't work, go see your doctor and he'll probably prescribe you a prescription strength cream, orally ingested anti-fungal meds, and antibiotics (to cut out any infection the tiny breaks in skin can cause).
In addition, keeping clean and DRY is important. After showering, use powder (I would suggest as plain a powder as you can, to avoid any possible burning or itching that fragrences can cause) and reapply a few times a day. Wear loose-fitting, cotton clothing, and with cold weather coming up (well, "coming up" here in Texas, if it's cold where you are, you know....) wear layers. Wearing clothes that allow your skin to "breathe" will keep some sweat and moisture of your body, which will kind of dry up the fungus. Wearing layers of those clothes allow you to shed outer garments to avoid sweating, too.
You mention Aveeno body wash, but if you haven't used the Aveeno oatmeal bath, try it. It's gross, but I'm 27, and my whole life have had to use it, and my son has to use it, too. It won't make it go away, but it is certainly helpful with easing the itching/burning/pain. You just run a warm bath and empty the contents of one envelope under the running water, and slosh it around (it will be clumpy, so you have to break up the clumps). Soak for 10-30 minutes. When you get out, use a towel to pat (not rub, that could hurt worse) dry, then apply the powder again.
Hope this is helpful. If you can't wait another 2-3 or more weeks, you can go to a clinic and they'll give you meds for it. I've gone to a dermatologist, but they do the same thing the clinics do.
I hope it gets better!

Herpes is usually painful. It could be a herpes infection, but it's more likely a yeast infection. Wearing pantyliners can cause yeast infections pretty easily because they don't breathe like normal underwear. Get an over the counter yeast infection treatment at the drugstore. I recommend a 7-day treatment because the 1-day ones can really irritate you, especially if you already have some irritation. If the itching is really bothering you, you can get a tube of Vagisil and use that until the infection clears up. Wear cotton underwear and skirts or dresses as much as you can until you feel better. If the infection doesn't go away within the amount of time stated on the yeast infection treatment packaging, make an appointment with your regular doctor. It doesn't have to be a gyn. You might need a prescription.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:
https://bitly.im/aMCA9
Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

first of all try an anti-fungal cream like Lamasil for two or three days, and if you don't see any improvement I would try extra strength benadryl cream, or cortisone cream. sometimes I get a rash on my neck and chest, sometimes even on my legs, and I use benadryl cream, that usually helps. but be careful about letting the dr. give you steroid shots if it is an allergic rash because this tends to make it come back worse after the shot wears off. you might even try some pure aloe vera gel. that stuff is great, but get the clear kind that doesn't have any artificial coloring or fragrance added to it.
Hope you get to feeling better real soon.

Um no not a yeast infection it's Ezcima or an allergic reaction. Go to your family doctor they will tell you what it is.
Aveeno isn't a cure it is a treatment to soften the skin. Try the baby products like the oatmeal bath. And epsim salts in the tub are good too.

you need to see a gastro doctor if you haven't already. hepatitis c is known to cause a rash that is very hard to treat.
nonetheless, have the dermatologist test you for antibodies for hepatitis c.....a standard liver panel may or may not show ALT and AST involvement (higher than normal range)
good luck.
