No test is perfect. Usually need at least 2 tests to verify which isn't a bad idea. If it's not what you're thinking, you might find out what the problem really is.

My boyfriend had a false positive in one test, but when they did a different test they saw a tumor that they wouldn't have seen if there wasn't a false positive. Better safe than sorry!!

simply put, yes. they would have to rule out many other diseases that would affect the brain....
not sure if you read up on yahoo news, but scientists are just figuring out what many already knew...viral infections can cause all sorts of viral induced neuropathies.

if you havent already, seek out the doctor and run a hepatitis c antibody test..regardless of what your liver panel indicated. with hcv's natural ability, the virus does not always increase a persons ALT and AST levels.
