I believe I know what you mean.
Yes sometimes we are born with gifts, but it may take time before were ready to use them, or ascertain enough to know what or gain experience to use it correctly.
All my life I didn't know if I have a gift, now I know, all of my gifts is to do spiritually. Since four years old I either seen ghost or spirits, or felt their presences.

GOD IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSON.HIS GIFTS ARE HIS TO GIVE.
I HAVE KNOWN OF A 9 YEAR OLD BOY PREACH THE POWER OF GOD WITH THE ANOINTING ,AND HUNDREDS GET SAVED.
