Personally, I hate being an only child. It made my cry when I was a kid, I was so lonely, and just felt 'different'. I used to beg god for a sibling, and sadly it never happened. I plan never to put my future kids through that. I'm planning on having at least two kids. Just wondering if other only children out there feel the same and how many kids you chose to have. Thanks :)

I am an only child and I too hated it. When I had my first daughter and my doctor said "what kind of birth control do you want" I told him I didn't that if I didn't have another child right away I never would (my labor wasn't that great and I had a c-section). I didn't care how long it took to get pregnant, but I was not going to make my child an only child. Now that I am an adult, I hate being an only child even more. I sympathize with you. I have 2 daughters that are 1 year and 5 days apart. They are the best of friends and best of all there is laughter in my home. Car rides, they sit in the back seat and giggle/chat/gossip and all the things siblings should do. It's wonderful.

I currently have 1 set of twin boys and a daughter 13 mo. after them. I'm pregnant again with what I'm pretty sure will be the last. Now we just have to find out how many there is going to be this time! When I give birth to this next baby I'll have at least 4 kids 2 and under!

I prayed to not have a sibling, but hey god forbid I shouldn't be the only child, but my dad's told me that my brother was an accident, so that made me feel a bit better. I hate having a sibling, but I'm still going to have 2 kids with my hubby though.

I think I am going to have one child as well. I had lots of cousins because we have a huge family so I don't feel like I missed out....I want one child because I had all of my mothers attention. I'm 21 and still do.

I want at least 6. I would like more, though. I love kids. I know I am only thirteen, and everybody is going to say, "You are going to say that until you have your first." Well, they are wrong. I am set on having six. I want three girls and three boys...at least. But whatever the lord gives me would be just as good enough. To tell you the truth...I have already planned their names! LOL!

i'm not a only child but my brother in law and sister in law both only have 1 child each and my husband and I dont want to put our daughter throught that...we plan on having at least 3 hopefully...but we are still working on our second right now..no luck yet..hopefully this month will be it

there are times i like being an only child and times i don't...my parents are more strict with me but im kind of spoiled....but i hate when we go on vacation im like just with my parents...how lame is that?!
i really always wanted to have an older sister and a baby sister, i woul give advice to my younger and get advice from my older....
i want to have 2 daughter and 1 boy....that is my dream...

i was an only too... actually im a twin.. but he diddnt make it. moving on..
i want 2 b/c i dont think its a good idea to let the kids outnumber the parents.. and i want a boy and a girl.. but hey watever God gives me is fine..
u gotta admit that there are perks to bein the one and only..
