How much sugar is in a 64 oz drink of soda. It doesn't matter what soda it is but I would like to know how much sugar is in a 64oz drink of soda.

Alright I do know that it does matter what type of soda. What I mean is pick what soda you want and please tell me, because I don't care if you use coke or pepsi. I need to make a visual on how much sugar so I would also prefer the answer in cups. Thanks!

It actually does matter which soda it is. Not all sodas have the same amount of sugar.

The average 12 oz. can of soda has 40 grams of sugar. So, a 64oz drink would have over 5 times that much. It would be over 200 grams of sugar, depending on the type of soda.

a can of Coke has 10 teaspoons of sugar in it.
so, that means 64 ounces from a can is over 50 teaspoons of sugar. Fountain drinks have much less.

"A single 12-ounce can of soda has as much as 13 teaspoons of sugar in the form of high fructose corn syrup. "

Multiply that by 5, we get 65 teaspoons of sugar. Which amounts to 1.4 cups.
