What's the best way to let someone know they smell??

Physics is a difficult subject as it is. But a real big reason I dread it each day is due to the guy sitting next to me. I'm not sure if he has physical education right before. He never looks sweaty but he reaks. I know its him. He raises his hand in class and well...its just horrible. I'm a pretty shy person and don't want to offend him. But I think someone should let him know. But how??

It's difficult, but the kindest thing to do is pull him aside when no one else is around and just say, "You might not be aware of this, but I've noticed you've got a little body odor during physics class. I thought you should know."

The mean people are probably already talking about him behind his back and avoiding him. He'll probably thank you for telling him.

YOu can drop subtle hints like everyday be like I wonder why this room always smells...I think someone with BO must sit in our seats in the period before how gross is that. or since your a girl be like I love ______colonge I love when guys where it or nothing is sexier then when you can smell a guys colonge. Either to him or say it to a friend loud enough that he hears it. If all else fails talk to your teacher and tell her the truth that you don't want to be mean but cannot handel it all year and don't want your grades to drop...If you sit in the back tell the teacher you cant see and move towards the front! My boss sprayed lysol on a woman that used to work with us who ALWAYS came back from lunch smelling awful. She put about 50 airfresheners in the room where another guy works now - and sprays down his chair every night, though usually not while he's in it! You might try offering him one of those pine tree air fresheners...

Or just say, 'maybe you don't realize it, but... your right guard quit, or your cologne isn't good, or something like that. If he's not completely obtuse, he'll get it.

That's a touchy situation. He probably eats lots of garlic or something. Just move. He probably knows he reaks and doesn't know what to do.

Discuss it with your teacher after class and let them handle it.

His parents may have not talked to him about hygiene. No one wants to smell and be different. Sort of feel sad for the guy when ya think about it.

Slip a note into his bag, move your seat, or simply gain enough strength and tell him. That his body odor is offensive. That is disgusting and not to be tolerated. There is no way he doesn't know he stinks. Good luck and God bless

Well B.O. is the pits. Either ask if you can sit somewhere else or offer him some deodorant is it against his religion or something?? Take a can of Fart spray and see it he notices and says anything to you and then you can say well since you mention it.

if he sits next to you even you're shy you might be saying hi how are you and some friendly talks.then just in some friendly talks tell him you're such a nice person but i just hate one thing about you.he'll say what? tell him promise me you won't feel bad. he'll say yes for sure. Then tell him i brought a gift for you--an anti-perspirent! how nice

I would stay after class is dismissed and discuss it with the teacher. Maybe the teacher can talk to him in a nice way and than the problem would be solved.

u should write him a note or ask somebody who is not very shy but very kind or just say dude i hate to be the one 2 tell u this but u kind of got some B.O.
