There are lots of names, but it should be unusual...Rosie or any of the color names are too obvious. You could always name him after a favorite place in the world...Paris, Boston, Sydney, etc.
a favorite tree...I've always liked the name "Willow".
A favorite author...one of mine is named "Parker" after Dorothy Parker.
A favorite thing: Candy, Pepper, , something like that.
A favorite day or season: Valentine. Friday, Autumn, Summer.

right now until march its breeding season for them. so yes they will get a little touchy, you can not yell at the bird its only doing what comes natural to it. now because you already yelled at him its going to take time to build the trust up he should have a clip job done., second work with him while hes in his cage by offering favorites treats. slowly allow him out keep working with him , but you picked the wrong time because hormal birds will be more into the breeding mode but keep working with them he came around when he is ready

At my house we have fun with names
the cats name is monkey...the hamster is duck duck
and the snake is goose!!
Just have fun with it. you don't have to go with the ovious
like rose or rosie...
