Salaries in today's world come along a large range, depending on you qualifications, experience, institute, the company employing you and of course - your luck.

You must do ample research on the company you are going for an interview to, to find out how much are they paying people with your kind of credentials. And be prepared to negotiate rather than meekly accepting what they offer. Remember, today there is a shortage of trained software professionals, and its a seller's market. So don't sell yourself short.
