Yes I have they are wonderful cats I love them. They are very vocal and demand a lot of attention, so you will never be lonely. Congrats on the new fuzzball!

i've never heard of it but that means nothing. just wondering why u want such an expensive cat, to play with or to show. they r treated totally different and i suggest u do some background work on the breeder and make sure he's not inbreeding and u get an animal that will end up sick. do some more homework before u shell out that kind of money. talk to people that actuallly own them.

I have a Snowshoe cat. He is absolutely gorgeous!! His name is Romeo and he was given to me (nope, I didn't pay $300-$500). He is full blood, a friend of mine used to breed them. He doesn't really like water (except to drink, lol) and is more lovable than playful. He doesn't hardly meow (not really sure why someone said they are vocal, thats Siamese not Snowshoe), in fact I've never met one that meowed very often. He loves to sleep in my lap and knead (whick can get kinda painful lol) and give kisses. Not all Snowshoe are polydactyl, thats just a genetic trait, it isn't based on a certain breed.

Good luck with your new kitty. I now you are going to love her!!

*Edited to add* Snowshoes and Maine Coons are 2 totally different breeds.

Soooooooo gorgeous!! I have five maine coons(snow shoe babies).
Malibu (cameo & white),
Breezer (pitch black),
Zambucca (tortoiseshell),
Tequila (pure red/cameo/white)
and Shooter (silver/black).
M*B*T*+S* are all boys and my only female is Zambucca. They are my babies/children. They have wonderful natures, playful, caring, lovable. Whenever I clean up, I have them dipping their paws in the sink, foam and all, and they find it totally fascinating when you drain the water from the bath or sink. Most of them have landed in the bath water with me and extremely brave !!! ha ha when balancing on the edge of the bath for my attention, or hooking their "snow shoes" thru the water. Always watch them extremely carefully when letting the bath water in!!!!! If they are unhappy with each other, you will just see their paw fly up and hit the other one. Not hard, but hard enough!! When I get home from work, I am honoured and welcomed by five rainbow bushy tails and meeeouws. Their meeeeouws aren't that loud. I have never heard any of them wail. They all live indoors with me. I would not have it any other way. I have never had a flea, tick\, smell, etc. None of them can ever be harmed, knocked over by a car, kicked by a neighbour, or what happened to my last stray kitty, mutilated by a black member of society and its organs sold for medicine in their tribes. (horrific) I live in Durban, South Africa. I spent months mourning, couldnt vacuum, for fear of losing his hair, which I picked up by hand and have kept in a bottle with his baby teeth, + now I am going to stop on this issue.
You have made a fantastic choice and always treat your animals the way you would like to be treated and better. I loooooooooooooooooooove mine so much..

Enrique reminds me of a dark cat with very soft silky long hair. Princeton sounds like a siamese

Snowshoes are beautiful. But I would look at petfinder.org you can get a snowshoe alot cheaper than $300-$500. I have 1 snowshoe and 1 mutt, but he looks just like a snowshoe and they cost me $40 each from my local snowshoe rescue. Best Regards KG
