I hate to be the one to break this to you teach, but the ink that's been used in that futile effort could fill the Great Lakes. From the various "ontological" to the need-for-a-designer arguments; we have been awash in vain attempts to prove what we want to believe. And it seems every generation has to go through the same empty exercise.
So the answer is no, logic will not and cannot assist you in understanding God, nor the "life after." Unless of course your "logic" demands his existence in the first place.

OUR logic...no, I don't think so. Not until our eyes are TRULY opened. Otherwise, how come "smart" people can't understand the simple message of God's love.
God's logic, though...

The religious do not like logic and reasoning. It tends to kill religion and the idea of god.
The more you know the less you need to believe so it is better to Believe then to Know.

People like computers must be programed, So I suppose if it's possible to program all of us the same we should all have the same view, but our brain wants to think like it wants that's why it's impossible; to all have the same view
