Talent without genius isn't much...

You don't have to be a genius to make 'something' of yourself, but if you're a genius without direction (talent) you'll never make anything of yourself.

Many are stubborn in the chosen path...
Many people chose a path, I want to be rich, I want to get married, I want ect... but few work to achieve the goal they just stick to "i want"

Hope is generally a wrong guide
Hope is not going to give you a solution or an answer... but it will make the waiting until you find your solution or answer easier to bear

To measure up to all that is demanded of him...
to be able to satisfy every ones demands upon him.. a man would have to lie.

Adversity introduces a man to himself.
That one is the easiest...
Until you are faced with a great crisis... you don't know yourself.

1) It takes both talent and genius to succeed. Talent alone isn't a guarantee of success; genius alone is worthless.

2) Just hoping won't get you where you want to go but it will comfort you on the way.

3) In order to do your best you must aim higher than you can reach.

4) You don't really know yourself until the going gets rough. Then your true self is revealed.

Adversity introduces a man to himself:
You don't know who you really are until you face a crisis/challenge. Anybody can put on a perfect smile when things are going smoothly. How you handle a problem shows your true character.
