Unfortunately there's tons of morons out there that think they're being clever, when in truth they're just humiliating themselves for all the world to see. It bugs me as well the fact that these fools are only point scoring off you, still it's a free services, so we will just have to put up with it I guess.

It's a quick 2 points. Some would rather earn 50 points by "answering" 25 questions than providing 10 good answers and winning 4 or 5 of them.

Well, like many of the other posts, I agree that it's mostly for the points and more often just out of boredom. Some people just think its funny, which we know it isn't funny especially when you are sincere in your question and need a real answer.
When I'm surfing the questions, I look for ones that I know the answer to and can answer truthfully. If not I go to the next question. Hey, it's no biggie!

Are you seriously suggesting that you have never given a dumb answer to a question because you wanted the points, because you were bored or because you felt like being an irritant? If you are such an intelligent person that this never happened why bother asking a question to which you probably already knew the answer.

To get points why else bothering to answer a question you dont no anything about. You would think that as they go through the questions something would stick and then they could repeat when they come across a similar question just to change the "I dont know" response. Mind you its so easy to type.
I dont know
and even easier if you copy and past. I dont know I dont know I dont know I dont know I dont know I dont know opps thought i was answering different questions there.

it must be for the points
its really easy to type thier same reply to every question
suggest in time we will only accept more extensive replies
but then who would judge them ,
they seem to work in gangs
thus any thing that thwarts thier game gets complaint
suggest we that ask should ration out the points according to the reply after all we thought of the serious question
ie rate every answer ,not just pick the good/best one
its only a game ,anyway it keeps them off the streets.
by thier words will we know them.
or was that by thier deeds?

They just want points and are not on here to help answer questions, or there just really board. Point being is that i agree with you if you can't answer the question then don't bother, pass it up and answer a question that counts. Good luck with this one, it looks like your going to get some smart a@s's.

To prepare for a career as internet broadband helpline techs. If this does not answer your question, try checking the plug and rebooting.
