That's really not explained in the Bible. But yes, they do not procreate, and ALL of the angels that are mentioned in the Bible are masculine. They also take on the form of men when they visit earth, and are called the "sons" of God. Interesting. Most of our understanding of these things are coluded by the fact that we have nothing to realte to when discussing people in Heaven, or Heaven itself. It is so beyond us, that God has to use symbols, stories and simple things we can relate to.

Jesus referred to Himself in both the masculine and the feminine. He said He was like a hen that wanted to gather her chicks beneath her wings, in regards to Jerusalem, and elsewhere as a woman about to give birth. God is not male or female.

Gender is a function of biology, so if one accepts the traditional viewpoint of angels as purely spiritual beings, then angels would have no gender. That's the standard traditional Christian viewpoint...although, as has been noted, in the Bible angels, like God, are assigned "default male" status, which isn't suprising in patriarchal cultures.

when angels are mentioned in the bible they are males. Once only mention are two females in the old testament. However, many believe they have no gender. This is possible since they do not reproduce.

Based on the Bible- all of the angels that are spoken about in the Bible have male names - Michael, Gabriel, etc. Humans have attributed feminine and even baby-like attributes to angels.

What would be the point of gender if they don't have sex or procreate? In fact, why do we assume God is a He? Because the Bible refers to 'Him' that way? What does it mean if God is a 'he'? Does it mean he has a penis, gonads, testicles? Does it mean he has to shave if he doesn't want to grow a beard? Does it mean he's a sexual being? If so, what kind of women does he prefer?

I believe we have a physical difference in soul between male and female....its our identity....But i also believe we may not recieve out privates because in heaven there is no need for re-creation....there is no need for our UNITS anymore.....and it wont be a big deal...cause by then....it wont even cross our minds in heaven....because there will be NO lust!
