ultimately, a choice. one chooses to be whatever one wants to be, whether it is being successful or not, happy or not, full of love or not, etc.
people who say they have no choice sometimes do not realize that there is always someone worse off than they are. a job at mcdonald's might not be the best job in the world, but at least it is a job. any job, in my opinion is better than no job. i would rather work than let the government hand me food stamps and allow me to live off the taxes of workers.
we americans may not like it, or we may be a bit annoyed by it, but mexicans make a choice every day to leave the way of life in mexico to come to the states. they should be coming legally, but thats a whole other issue.
people make choices every day. this is why i think life is ultimately, a choice.
