hope you raise your grade too.

Read some fun and entertaining books. I recommend _Pillars of the Earth_, by Ken Follett, but any publication will do.

Crossword puzzles also are a good tool, but probably not as much fun as reading a good book.

Take some on-line vocabulary tests. Try this one: www.vocabulary.com

Start studying and trying to make better grades. Pay attention in class. Turn in assignments early. If there's something you don't understand, aks. Ask the teacher if there's anything you can do for extra credit. There is no easy way, you just have to make up your mind to do it, and you will.

You dug your own grave. Now it's going to be tough to get back out but if all you want to do is pass (as in get a d), then you can cheat or better yet, you can read the books!! I know, it's revolutionary.

Get your self checked for learning disabilities. It took me until the age of 19 to find out all this time i have been dyslexic, so i can't spell at all (if it weren't for this spell checker). (i had 5 words corrected.)

Study harder. Get help. Hire a tutor if you need. Talk to your teacher and see if he or she can give you suggestions on how to bring your grades up. If your teacher knows you are willing to work at it, he or she will probably try to help you.

Go talk to your teacher. See if you can do extra credit papers, do one or two over, and make sure you pay attention in class and participate.
