If you have power locks, yes. You can get a cheap keyless entry system installed for 100 bucks or less.

I'm not sure if they were available on F-150s of that particular year. But what I do know, is that Ford does sell an "add-on" type keyless entry keypad that can be installed on any Ford vehicle. It is probably the best one to get, if that's what you decide. Don't go for the cheesy aftermarket setups. More often, than not, installation of aftermarket accessories results in "mickey mousing" of the factory wiring causing electrical nightmares down the road.

Yes and was usually on the lariat trim trucks or an option on the XLT trucks.
Aftermarket kits can be installed for it for a few hundred dollars as the plug ins are not there on non keyless entry trucks to add the module from Ford anyway.

Why would you want a keyless entry??????
A key is one of the safest entry systems we have.
More gagets we have on a vehicle the more problems you are asking for.
It would be great to order a car/truck with out all the electric and computer junk.
But that's my 2 cents worth.

Yes, some did. If you are just wanting a remote to lock and unlock the door, there are aftermarket kits out there and Ford Dealers can install Ford Kits. I have done this many many times.

i own a repair shop, and im not sure on, whether or not , they came with them from the factory, but i know for a fact that they can be added to them, because we have done a lot of them here at the shop, i have bought my best ones through advance auto parts ,there the easiest to install, and so far the best working ones i have found,i tried some off the Internet, and they were really cheap looking when they got here, even though i saved a few bucks on them they weren't the best ones i had seen,if you decide you want one id call and check with advance before i bought from anywhere else, and make sure the mechanic that installs it really knows his stuff, good luck on it,i hope this help,s.

You can check www.keylessride.com and it will tell you if it did come with it. You can also order a new remote from them without having to go to the STealership for it.
