Sort of. Lemmon Juice or Lemmon water is a natural diuretic. in otherwords it makes you pee. If you have excess fluid in your body and you get rid of it you will loose that "water weight". It will otherwise not make you loose fat or burn calories.

You can lose lots and lots of weight if you just drink lemon juice for the next week.
It is a really lousy diet that I would never recommend to anyone. You can also save the money on the lemon juice by just drinking water for the next week. You will probably lose exactly the same amount of weight on either diet.

I've heard that lemon juice helps flush out "bad fat" and toxins in your body. Mix a tablespoon in with your bottled water... it makes it taste better and certainly can't hurt.
Organic lemon juice is the way to go, though, with all of the pesticides being used today. Santa Cruz 100% Organic Lemon Juice is wonderful.
And, if you're feeling up for it, add just a pinch of cayenne pepper, too. It sounds weird, but it helps boost your metabolism and doesn't taste too bad.
I did a water/juice fast for five days this summer, mixing lemon juice, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper with bottled water. I lost about a pound a day, but didn't keep it off. The best way to go is probably to just start adding the lemon juice to your bottled water.
Fasts are pretty rough, even if you have strong willpower. It's really easy to go on an eating binge when you come off of it.
Good luck!

The acidity of lemon juice will pull the water out of your body. You can do the same thing with diet coke. The only weight youlll lose is water weight. which will come back as soon as you eat or drink something. So no this will not help you to lose weight.

It does not help to lose weight at all.. U need to lose calories to lose weight, which means only through exercises and reducing caloric uptake will help lose weight. Lemon juice and Green tea only helps to lose the water weight in your body not fats. Taking excess lemon juice might cause gastric pain too since its acidic..

I don't know that it will make you lose weight, but it does cut the fat and grease in food. My mother use to drink a little after she ate a meal and she did see weightloss results; but keep in mind, this was done with eating protioned, healthy meals and exercising regularly. Lemon juice alone will not make you lose weight.

I never heard of lemon juice causing weight loss. You may end up with heart burn if you drink too much though.

I know a better diet solution. Try Weight Loss / Hoodia Sample. It helps suppress hunger and control appetite. Just be careful where you get your Hoodia sample. Here's a website http://www.upkb.com/weightloss.php for the product details.
