You do what your Mom says as long as she's paying the bills. It's not all about you honey.

Depends on how old you are... If you are an adult then move...
or even better, get a job then move. She may not be being stubborn, maybe she is just wanting to keep you around because she loves you & will miss you....
Just remember that you cannot live your life for others, you have to do what is best for YOU & do what makes YOU happy.
My mom has always been my "BEST FRIEND" it was REALLY hard for me to move 3000 miles away from her, but that was what I had to do & she got really clingy before I moved, but she also understood that was what I had to do.... We miss spending a lot of time together, but we talk on the phone 3 times a week & we email A LOT so that helps some.

If you are 18 or over, then you should be able to do what you want. you are a grown woman. i am 19 and also trying to find my own place. I was born and raised in Atlanta, but now im living with my aunt in new orleans. but i plan on moving to gainesville, florida by myself to start college.
Good luck finding a job! remember, no matter what anyone tells you, you should to what YOU want to do. NOT what anyone else wants you to do. if you look hard enough to find work and stay commited and stay focused, you will find a job girl. much love xoxo

Stubborn people often need to be allowed to decide things for themselves--they won't listen to anyone else. The best thing you can do for them is just provide them with some simple facts and information that they can use to straighten things out.

For example, my dad has always been afraid of the internet and Free software--he has made up this wild theory that the stuff is dangerous. It took months to ease him into it, like telling him little facts like the National Security Agency use Linux extensively. After a while he finally, QUIETLY changed his opinion (he never admitted it or apologized).

You have a tough road ahead of you.

do you have a job ? or is this what your mother is complaining ?that you do not have a job ?
first of all , until you are able to take care of yourself ? you may try to understand your mother's position as well and respect her ?
if your situation is unbearable ? then find a job as soon as possible and plan on leaving
have you looked for a job ?
but remember ? a mother may come in need .......no matter how old you are ..........
a mother )))

How old are you? If you are old enough to work and support yourself, then I would say go for it. If you are still in high school and your parents are supporting you, then that is an entirely different story.

If you are an adult, you put one foot in front of the other, walk out the door, find the job, get the apartment, move out, and stop whining.

You stop saying "I want" and focus on supporting your mom.
