I'm very found of Labs, We also have a beagle and a coon hound, plus 3 labs. Altho they all have took my heart one way or another, Our beagle is a pure breed but he never grew the 14" height he was intended he has a unique personality and has took my heart more than once. Our coon hound is part walker and english, he feel his job is to let me know every time he feels some thing isn't just right outside be it a car, wind, cat what ever he keeps me informed. He's also a mommy's boy. every time he feels uncomfortable he jumps in my lap. As far as my 3 labs the oldest is 12 years old. He's a yellow and has by my side thick or thin. He's very smart .. He's my best friend, The girls are 8mo puppies. One has taken my heart, she's loyal, sweet and always by my side. Her sister is the opposite, She is a bit of a rebel and always keeping me on my toes. She has the funniest expressions w/tilted heads and brown eye's. They all touch me in one way or another and thankful for them every day. I never look at the breed they are but more the friends they have become. They all have there own personalities and strengths. If I had to choose by breed I would never be able to decide.

I grew up with dachshunds and I love them! I thought that they were the perfect dog! As an adult with a house and fenced yard, I wanted a dachshund! My husband brought home a 5 month old black lab who was in need of a home. It was love at first sight! I will admit that my lab is not perfect, but I'll bet that through the eyes of my parents, our dachshunds were not perfect either! I guess they are like our own kids - they all have faults, but we love them all, and if you play favorites then you're in trouble!

See I have two dachshunds and I love them, see the good thing about little dogs are less poop and there poop isn't that big... but both dogs are cute... just depends on what you want and can take care of...

if someone is telling you you need to decide tht dont listen to them! both dogs can be good and bad in their own unique ways and there doesnt have to be a "better" one. trust me it would just be a whole lot easier if u decide both of them are good in their own ways and both deserve the same amount of care and love. :] if you have to get rid of either the dachsunds or lab then thts a whole different story and depends on a lot of different things.

I don't like Doxis... but then I had one try to attack me nearly every day on the way to school growing up... the owners didn't think she needed to be fenced because she was a small dog... vicious little bugger...

Since I like smaller dogs the best, I have to vote for doxies.

Doggie toothpaste is totally diff than human toothpaste - get the doggie toothpaste. The human stuff could make them sick. The doggie stuff even has a chicken or beef flavor that they will like and it will make it easier for you to brush their teeth! :)
