Yeah, I bet the oppressed Ughiur minorities in China, the atheists shunned in Iran or Pakistan, and the christians sent to North Korean concentration camps are really bothered by that too... (sarcasm)
Criticism is an integral part of free speech. Be thankful that you live in a society with free speech and deal with it.
If you don't like what people have to say about your religion, answer them with arguments, and that's that.

Asalamualaikum,
Dear Muslim Sister,
I am also a muslim, but not a convert. I believe it's great that you converted to Islam; especially in this day and age. My advice would be to ignore what people call you, whether its a sheep or a dog. Belief in Allah, the creator, is enough to get you through life. I go to a public school, and i wear a hijab (an obvious label) to everyone that i am a muslim. I constantly get questions like "why do you believe in your religion so much?" or "You're still young, its time for fun, not worship" especially during the month of Ramadan when i was fasting. They are always so amazed at how i can fast for a month, but believe me its usually a good thing. They look up to you and try to see who's better at their religion than the other. It's humorous at times, but anyways to get to my point. Don't worry about it, you can just ignore it and have faith inshallah. May Allah bless you inshallah!
Waalaikum Asalam My sister,
~Sunny~

It takes a few to upset many.
If it gets some frustrated then they are happy.
Seriously there is nothing anyone can say to change your affirmation or beliefs.
That is commendable and the others who cannot, try to break down which they hate.
You are not worthless as neither am I.
You are not a sheep but part of an incredibly strong flock.

Bah. It's an easy attack that's meaningless and doesn't appreciate what religion is and where it comes from (from a secular standpoint, a la Mircea Eliade).
I think some people become atheists without thinking it out thoroughly and just want to act like rebels, or whatever, so they decide everyone around them are sheep. There's so much wealth there, however, that's worth exploring, especially from a totally secular standpoint.

NO I don't hate it when someone refers to me as being one of the sheep that follows Gods word. If you remember a photo of Jesus the Good Shepherd ? Well if we read between the lines, we are considered to be one of Gods Sheep. We are to follow Him and do as He says. If you follow your religion Faithfully, then be happy to be one of God's flock. Nothing wrong with that.
It is just one portrait painted on what we are in reference. to God. Your not worthless and don't let anyone make you feel that way. God Loves you and that is all that matters.

It takes real courage for anyone who follows their faith as faith today is challenged at every turn. That being said, I truly wish you would have considered Christianity - Jesus. Islam is not going to get you eternal life and I say that with a sad heart. You will never be sure of eternal life and Jesus says you "can know now that you have eternal life" as He is eternal life. I was totally regenerated when I accepted Christ - was supernatural. Scales fell off my eyes and I KNEW who He was, etc. My entire spirit was transformed. I have total security that He is my entrance to the Father and don't have to worry constantly if my works are enough or if my sins are outnumbering them. Everything that needed to be done has been done by Jesus. The bible says there is no forgiveness of sin without the shedding of blood. Jesus redeemed us with his blood. I know I'm rambling but I truly wish you would ignore all the stuff you hear about Christianity and just go to a quiet spot with a sincere heart and ask Jesus to reveal himself to you. What do you have to lose. I want you to go to heaven.

your choice to follow a religion should make you a better person in the days of mass immoral propagation. it shows that you are willing to change your life for the better. if you are a sheep oh-well at least you will be a happier sheep. live your life like you want to live it don't get discouraged or upset because someone has another opinion.

"yet these days, each and all the Atheists in this website look bashing and insulting all Christian perspectives. i comprehend you do not have self belief in God, yet why do you sense the could insult somebody's perspectives on existence?" Attacking a individual's perspectives isn't the comparable as attacking the guy. i will hate an thought with out hating the guy who has the assumption.

It takes great courage to be a follower of Islam with all of the stereotypes that people now associate with Muslims. You are in no way a sheep...
