To get to Heaven, a person must believe that Jesus is Lord, and our Savior. He lived a perfect life, then died to pay for our sins, and 3 days later he rose from the dead and went to Heaven. Then you must pray, and tell God that you believe that, and ask forgiveness for your sins and ask him to live in your heart. After that, you will go to Heaven when you die or when Jesus comes at the Rapture to take all of his followers to Heaven, whatever comes first.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.
This being said, it is not a general type of belief - the bible says even the devil believes - it is more of a trusting belief. You put your trust in him and what he did on the cross for you as payment for your sin. He took your place so you could go to heaven. You have to accept that and let him be your Lord from here on in. He said that he is now preparing a place for us that where he is we will be also. Isn't that great.

Believe that Jesus was the Son of God, accept and admit the fact that you are a sinner and without God's forgiveness you are codemned to an eternal punishment only meant for satan and his followers, confess this with your mouth and you will be saved (born again, sanctified, etc.). Only true repentence and acceptance of this gift from God will secure your place in heaven.

Except Jesus Christ as your savior ask him into your heart and ask him to forgive you of all your sins, then tell people you are saved then start living your life, knowing you are his representative here , what you do will be held into account here and in heaven, so do the very best you can, and remember you will slip up we aren't perfect, but as soon as you do ask for his forgiveness and move on

I don't think anyone really knows, even though some people think they know.
If you know the difference between right and wrong, then you should just focus on doing what you know is right.
Worry about the way you treat other people.
The here and now is more important than what might happen when we die.
And of course, it goes without saying that this is only my opinion.

If God is loving, you're guaranteed entrance.
A loving being would never send someone to Hell. Most mortals would not wish Hell on anyone. Yet, some people assume that God is worse than mortals. If God loves you, then he'll send you to Heaven.
There are those who claim that God is cruel enough to allow people to go to Hell. If God is that cavalier about human life, then he would have no respect for the truth. As such, those who are "promised" Heaven cannot be guaranteed that God would uphold his promise.

By accepting Christ as your Savior. Eternal life is a gift from God through His Son Jesus Christ. You only have to believe and accept this gift. By admitting you have sinned, as have all of mankind, asking forgiveness for your sins and accepting christ into your heart and life. Reading the Bible, especially the book of John in the new testament, will give you the pathway to follow to acceptance of Christ.

I can only tell you from my experience of walking with Jesus for 16 years that according to the Bible a person must be born again.
The specifics of being born again is found in the Bible in the Book of ACTS chapter 2 verse 38" Repent, Be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." This is what Jesus called being "Born of the water and of the Spirit" In doing this you will see things that only God will reveal to you, especially who He really is pertaining to His Oneness with Christ, God manifested in the flesh. Then in living for Him in complete obedience to His Holiness you will be ready. Some of the churches that preach and teach what the Apostles taught are:
United Pentecostal Churches, Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ, PAW, and there are some Apostolic Independant Churches but with the independants you would have to ask if they teach what I mentioned. I pray for God to lead you in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

You first must admit you are a sinner. You must then realize that only God can take away that sin and give you a new life. You must know that nobody is perfect and that is why we need God. Tell him you know you are a sinner and that you need him. Ask him to forgive your sins and to come into your life and save you. If you sincerely mean that, he will do it and will change your life.
