yes you can do this the night before and your hair can stay straight for a couple of days also.
these are the products i use to blow dry my curly frizzy hair straight and keep it that way; phytodefrisant anti-frizz botanical hair relaxing balm and redken glass smoothing serum. i apply them to my wet hair and blow dry my hair with a round brush. put your wet hair in two sections by putting half of your hair up (hold it up with a hair clip) while you blow dry the bottom part, once the bottom part of your hair is dry, then continue with the top part. and walla!
you can also apply this products to your wet hair and let it dry naturally and it'll bring out your natural curls without frizzyness.

First make sure you use a good conditioner when you shampoo. Use a straightening serum to keep hair from getting frizzy, Blow dry with a very large round brush, pulling hair straight as you dry. Make sure you let you iron warm up thoroughly, ceramic irons are best. Use a hair clamp and section off your hair--leave a row down all the way around your head and straighten in thin rows going up your head to the top. Small sections straighten best. Run the iron down from the scalp to the ends slowly but be careful not to leave the iron in one spot on the hair or you will burn it. Repeat a section at a time until you get to the top of your head. Finish with a movable light hairspray.

1. Take a shower. Use shampoo and conditioner at the ends of your hair.
2. Dry your hair after a shower, and add leave in conditioner.
3. Add sprays like Dove and comb through
4. Blow dry with brush while trying to straighten it.
4. Use the highest number to have hot heat and straight hair. Do top, middle, and then botom layer.
5. Brush through
6. Put in ponytail
DO ALL OF THIS AT NIGHT
1. Next morning, straighten your hair again, but it won't take as long. Ad some hair products for dry hair.
2. Stay away from water.

I have the same hair, and I have the same problem. I leave my hair naturally curly and straight. NO matter what, I can't keep my hair straight without it poofying. It's traight, it's just there;s so much moisture, it makes my hair BIG.

Wow you sound like me. I have the same hair. Usually, I leave it curly, but it just gets ANNOYING!
Sometimes, when I want to straighten it, I usually take a shower, use Shampoo and Conditioner *it doesn't really matter which one, because you're gonna be straightening it* Then, put some anti frizz product in it (Frizz ease usually works well) and then wrap it in a towel, DO NOT TOWEL DRY, IT MAKES IT FRIZZY. Let it half-dry. Then blow dry straight ( http://www.ehow.com/how_1324_straighten-hair-blow-dryer.html )
Then, spray alittle hairspray on it. Flat iron it little sections at a time. The best straightener is the CHI, but it's just WAY too expensive for me. I use a conair ceramic wet/dry one. After you're done spray a little more hairspray on it and go to sleep.
In the morning flat iron it again so it's how you want it and spray some hairspray.

I've been wanting experiment with hair wax, so what I want to try is straighten my hair and then put a TINY amount of wax at the tips. Not sure what's gonna turn out.

ok, i totally hear you on this one, my hair is the same way. Wash your hair with your regular shampoo, but use Pantene ProV "Extra Straight" conditioner. Start to blowdry it, then put in "Straighten Out" gel by Special FX. Make sure your hair is totally dry before straightening. once your hair is dry, divide it into sections where its easy to get a hold of different parts of your hair so the straight and curly ones dont get mixed (its much easier to have them separated) When you're going to straighten a piece, spray it just a little bit with "Flat Iron" by Special FX. Don't get it too wet or else it won't straighten right. Then straighten your hair and when you have finished with one layer, put it in a rubber band to keep it from getting mixed up with the curly hair. Good Luck! Oh, be sure to do it a night before school, cause it requires some serious time.

You have to get a GOOD flat iron (usually around $150) with the blue plates. It should go up to like 400 degrees. After you straighten it w/ the flat iron blow dry it with COLD air. Then put some type of shine serum in there.

Trust me it works wonders!!!

I have really curly, frizzy hair too and i normally straighten it. What i do is i blow dry my hair after the shower, then use ur flat irons and straightnen it. To keep it straight i use hairspray and to get rid of the frizz use a de-frizzing sray on it. U should do it in the morning but shower and blow dry it at night.

First put cholesterol in your hair and leave in hair for 10 min. Rinse. Towel dry hair.Put a lil serum in your hair. Comb. Straighten your hair with a round brush and blow dryer section by section. Then add a lil more serum. (not too much) Then flat iron your hair section by section for a sleek look. Total time 45 min judging by the length of your hair.

I would do it the night before!!! It takes so long to do curly hair!! Seperate your hair into lots of small sections, and then straighten it section by section... I have a good friend with really curly hair so when she straightens her hair, she gets like 2 girls over to do it, that way she doesn't get tired so easily. Have fun!

Usually what I do is
1) Wash my hair with dangerously straight shampoo and conditioner
2) put garneir frizz control in my hair
3)blow dry it on high heat

In the morning i straighten it, and put a little bit of hair spray to help it stay straight. Works for me, and my hair sounds like yours.
