That vision, if it was true, was Satan himself.

That dream was not even true. Second of all, a little chip is not the mark of the beast. There is nothing about anything like that in the Bible. Revelation 13 starts out by describing the first beast. If you look back to the book of Daniel, you will see four separate beasts that fit the description of the first beast of Rev. 13. It was like a leopard which in Daniel fits with the nation of Greece. The bear represents Medo-Persia, the lion Babylon, and the dragon represents Satan which gave authority to the beast. But this beast in Revelation only has certain characteristics of these kingdoms. If you put it all together you will find there there is only one organization in the whole world that fits this description and that is the Papacy. The pope, as well as the church in general, is considered to be infallible, and what ever is said by the pope excathedra is pretty much doctrine. These civilizations all had one or more of these characteristics.
In the bible, a sea, means a populated area. Rev. 17 "The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues." There fore this first beast rose up in a populated area. The second beat in the chapter rose up from the earth. Obviously earth and sea are opposite, so the opposite of a populated area is a desolate area. Now, except for the earliest civilizations, all rose up into what was formerly a kingdom that was inhabited by people. The US was formed on this continent what the Native American population was only about 4 million.
Alright, so the US is the second beast and will exercise all the power of the first beast. Well what does that mean? That means that the papacy murdered millions of people during the Dark Ages for an offence so small as having possesion of a Bible or even just parts of it. There were endless crusades against other Christians hiding in the mountains so that they could practice their faith in peace. So, from that I suppose that the US will do the same thing because that's what is says right there in verse 12.
Going on, what is the mark of the beast? It is a sign that you belong to the beast and serve it. When the mark of the beast comes, the Papcy will be controlled by Satan disguised as a human person, even pretending to be Christ. When he comes as Christ, he will demand to be worshipped as Christ.
Lets go aside for a moment and look at something else. The fourth commandment commands that the seventh day of the week is to be kept as the Sabbath day where no work is done in it. Now look at a calandar and tell me what the seventh day is. If that doesn't work for you try this. Jesus rose on Sunday right. That's why Christians keep Sunday as a holy day right? The Bible says that Jesus rose on the first day of the week. So if the first day is Sunday, the seventh must be Saturday. Now why don't Christians keep Saturday. There is no place in the Bile that says that God changed his holy day from Saturday to Sunday. I think if God were to change one of His commandments, it would have a big enough affair that the whole world would have known. You can find this change though. Around the year 300 A.D when it was changed by a Roman emporer, and the whole world from that point on obeyed the Holy Roman Church. There was no change in the Sabbath when the apostles were alive, and Jesus himself kept Saturday, the seventh day, as the Sabbath.
God said in Exodus that the Sabbath would be a perpetual (eternal) sign (mark) between Him and His people. A synonym for a sign is a mark. So if the mark of God is the Seventh day Sabbath, then the mark of the beast must be worshipping on the first day of the week, Sunday.
Now as to the second part of the question of whether I would rather starve or accept the mark of the beast. But God says of the righteous that will be living at this time "He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given hem; his waters shall be sure." Isa. 33:16.
I did this in a hurry, so if it doesn't make much sense, just do one thing.....prove me wrong and then let me know.

Keep in mind that taking the mark of the beast means that you will suffer in hell. Once someone takes the mark of the beast, it is too late for them to accept Jesus as their Savior-anytime other than that it's okay, but after taking the mark, it's too late. So I would rather starve, even though it's a horrible death. Fortunately, I don't have to worry about that. The mark of the beast won't be around until after the Rapture, and I'll be gone then-Jesus is coming to take me home!

A vision? LOL
The last of prophets in the order of time was Malachias.
Latin Vulgate
Douay-Rheims Bible
Second Epistle Of Saint Peter
Chapter 2
1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there shall be among you lying teachers, who shall bring in sects of perdition, and deny the Lord who bought them: bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their riotousnesses, through whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you. Whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their perdition slumbereth not. 4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but delivered them, drawn down by infernal ropes to the lower hell, unto torments, to be reserved unto judgment
11 Whereas angels who are greater in strength and power, bring not against themselves a railing judgment. 12 But these men, as irrational beasts, naturally tending to the snare and to destruction, blaspheming those things which they know not, shall perish in their corruption, 13 Receiving the reward of their injustice, counting for a pleasure the delights of a day: stains and spots, sporting themselves to excess, rioting in their feasts with you: 14 Having eyes full of adultery and of sin that ceaseth not: alluring unstable souls, having their heart exercised with covetousness, children of malediction

though i walk through the fires of hell will fear no evil
yep rekon if the mark says im me i got no fear about it
but i have talked to many of many divergent beliefs the only thing they all had in common was they wernt going to take the mark
fear has then all fast
evil needs to be able to change faces ,evil dosnt want to be accounted ,known by who they are thus have pushed the fear ,so they can keep changing id and being pretending humanity
this is consistant the evil pretense and lie will end only when they have thier marks on thier forhead for all to see.
when good men and true alone will be able to trade under thier one name
yep give us and them the mark of man being seen as true man
one name
why pretend? but to pretend goodness where there is none.

I would take no chances myself. What if it is real. I think that's exactly what Satan wants us to believe. A slow agonizing starvation is far better to endure than eternal hell fire.
