Why not worship nature instead of "God"?
Why not worship the arts, the environment, music, happiness, science, poetry, music, sound, light, colours and birds?

I don't understand why many people still waste so much time of their lives with things that they cannot see, when the universe we have around us is so wonderful and worthy of adoration.
Why waste our time with things we are not sure of their existance, when what exists around us is so much beautiful already?

I'd rather sit every night in silence, under the starry night and the moonlight, and marvel at the hugeness and perfection of our universe, instead of going to church every morning to hear to the preaching of a book written by fellow men and feeling guilty for just living my life.

With "things we cannot see", I meant "things we are not sure of their existance".

We know love exists because we feel it, and there's evidence of it. That's not the case with "god" or other religious entities.

They are both important... is love unimportant because we cannot see it?

“We put thirty spokes to make a wheel: But it is on the hole in the center that the use of the cart hinges. We make a vessel from a lump of clay; But it is the empty space within the vessel that makes it useful. We make doors and windows for a room; But it is the empty spaces that make the room livable. Thus, while existence has advantages, It is the emptiness that makes it useful”

Yes, if we cannot experience something we should not worry about it. That is why Buddhists are agnostics, because things like that create attachment...

I agree with you that it's good to focus on the here and now, and appreciate the world around us.

However, keep in mind that nature can be cruel as well as beautiful. Nature does not have a conscience. Think of how many people die in natural disasters, or for lack of food, or who die at a young age from some horrible and painful disease. Because of this, I cannot worship nature.

But I do agree that a starry night or a beautiful sunrise are both things to be grateful for. They also help to remind me of all the other things in my life that I am grateful for.

This is because people are, on average, spectacularly stupid.

We can see love, home, faith and friendship. MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) has been used to actively scan people while they are experiencing particular emotions. Everything we have, we have a way to measure, explain or prove the existence of.

Except for God.

I'm not saying that there is or isn't a (christian) god - even with the astounding logical arguments against it - but what I'm saying is there there is no proof of one. No proof, whatsoever, nada, nope, none. Yet some people specifically devote all of their potential worshipping time to a god they have been told exists by someone else who was told they exist, and so on.

In John 4:20-24, Jesus is talking about worshiping, and states in the past that the Jews worshiped in Jerusalem but in the future, that is now, "the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him."
While it is good to admire God's handiwork, do not worship it.

Wrong...you only know what you yourself can and cannot see. God does exists to me...why? Because I see His work in everything and I feel the power of the Holy Spirit working within me. That is real and true...I'm sorry you can't see it or feel it or have the "proof" you're looking for, but I do and millions of other born-again Christians do as well. So don't knock what you don't or can't understand...fair enough?

The beautiful nature you are looking at is but a dim reflection of the glory of the one who created it all....

And as Paul wrote, "17For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
18So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. "
