Ummm Leviticus is the Laws written by Moses for the Jews, the same laws that the Christians quote when they're bashing homosexuality. It also said no eating shellfish (Crabs and Shrimps included) and no wearing of Mixed Theads (Shoot I guess I can't wear the Wool/Nylon sweater this winter.

Uh, yeah! Read about what was going on in Sodom and Gomorrah. It was so bad that we still use the word 'sodomy'. It is a perversion and vile, and we need to be warned about it. Sodom and Gomorrah was wiped out because it was so vile.
Also, where do you think VD and Aids started? It is harm-full and kills people and it was addressed in the Bible.

Are you trying to say sleestacks do not have this problem? I bet they do! Just kidding!
I am just glad to know that the sleestacks are reading the Bible!

Apparantly the practice was prevalent enough with the surrounding cultures, otherwise God might not have said anything about it. He did want to make sure the Isrealites, as "His own special people", stood out from the crowd. Many sexual practices were forbidden, bestiality is just one of them!

Consider also: a vague law is a BAD law. Since God is concerned with our most intimate relationships, mentioning all of the "bad" stuff with a "thou shalt not" does make things very clear.

Apparently not everyone got that memo. During biblical times, I guess the law had to be laid down, apparently the harem wasn't enough for some herders, they'd go after the females in their flocks too.

A woman in WA recently busted her husband raping their pit bull...she heard the dog screaming and when she went to check guess what she found??? She caught it on camera phone and called the police.

Poor dog....
Poor wife....
Instant divorce!

Here we are in modern times with states having to make beastiality illegal, for the animal's sake...some people are very disturbed (necropheliacs top that list).

I think it is twofold, alot of sheep were getting buggered and dudes were getting some nasty *** diseases...and I think there is something in genesis about Adam buggering the animals in the field? Not sure about that but I seem to remember it from before my atheistic ways.

You'll notice many of the biblical figures were shepherds or nomadic animal herders.

This is only practical advice.
