Tends to be that most guys wont talk to me or even come near my cuz I have a belly. I think I am average but compared to the skinny girls I am fat. I mean I have had boyfriend but they usually say how hot the girls are on tv and they are super skinny. I am 19 and am happy with how I look. Why cant a guy be happy with it?I think I have a great personality and guys never see that.

I used to think the way you do but there are alot of men that like "not so perfect" girls. It's true that guys will ogle the skinny model type on tv or out in public but alot of them given the choice aren't necessarily attracted to those type of women, they just enjoy looking at them. Being heavy myself and 6' on top of it, I never thought I would be able to attract anyone. I quickly learned the opposite after becoming single. I'm out going and friendly. I have the attitude that I may be heavy but that doesn't mean I have to look dumpy and I take great care to make sure that I always look nice. Men may like to look at the thin girls but there are plenty out there that like us big girls to.

You can't blame them for looking at the girls on tv and thinking they look good. They spend like 3 hours getting their hair and makeup done and get their clothes specially fitted.
But believe it or not that's not what they're looking for in real life, not that they would turn it down!! But they all realise on some level that girls aren't really like that in real life, hell, the people on tv don't look like that on their day off!
Just keep being proud of yourself and perk up a bit, maybe you are sending out the wrong signals by being bummed about this.
It will not be because of your belly that guys avoid you, plus they probably aren't even avoiding you in the first place or it's for some other reason. If you have a really cool personality they might be intimidated by you.
Stay cool, and if the belly is bothering YOU then do a little work to get rid of it or slim it a lil bit.
If not, just get on with life as you have been doing, but just remember to show your confidence.

If guys you know are that concerned with a woman's weight, they aren't worth the stress. I'm 5'4", 147 lbs. and a women's size 10/12. I have a fiance that I've been with for a little over 4 years and we're getting married next Sept. He's on the lean side, but not skinny. I was mortified one day when he put my jeans on by accident...and they were a bit big on him! He has told me that he doesn't care how much I weigh, my weight has nothing to do with why he loves me!
As long as you're happy with yourself, that's all that matters.

i think u are looking at all the wrong guys. there are guys who don't judge girls just on looks, and those are the ones w/the best personalities. just give it time, and u will meet someone, u sound like a v.nice person. good luck, and remember that u are just fine the way u are, and if a guy can't except that, then he isn't worth it.

Ahhhh. I am soo sorry to hear about that. I always wonder that too. I am not skinny either. I am really short and when your short it's hard to be skinny. I'm just average. But, I am TRULY sorry about this. One day you will find a guy who will like you the way you are.

Those guys are in shape at the higher levels of the game. They may be big but some of them can run faster than most JV players (around a 5sec laser forty time)

All of the women I have dated except for one have been towards the heavier side. I am more attracted to the intellectual side than the physical.

not all guys are that obsessed with girls with eating disorders, however when a guy is looking for someone to just fool around with, looks are the only thing they judge with
