Nothing interesting thus far; I just had my five-year reunion this summer and didn't attend, so I've got my information secondhand.
From what I understand, most of them have had about three kids, just as many abortions, and work in fast food.

I am 38, and of my friends that I graduated with, 1 is a psychology professor, 1 is a newspaper distribution manager, and 1 is taking over his dad's advertising agency. If you are just 23, don't expect great things to happen at this age. After people have been out of school and around the block a few times, they will decide they either want a family, a job they enjoy, or lots of money. But some won't do anything, true. When you say they end up going nowhere, that can be an opinion. I know lots of others from my school that just raised a family and lived life. They were not rich, but they were happy.

That's about right; that is if you were hoping that your classmates were going to make positive changes to the world.
99% of everyone's classmates ended up as breeders. That's about their only contribution to the world and, well, that's pretty big negative.
Thank God for that 1% that are making, or made, positive changes to society.
Me? What have I done? A little breeding; maybe one of my kids will do something useful for the world - I sure haven't. I just lay around in bed reading and answering YA questions.
How did you end up? Have you done anything of lasting quality for our world?

Im not 23, Im 18, but I was the youngest in my class. Our program was 8 months long.. and it's been quite awhile since our program ended. A lot of us are working for the Government now including myself, and others are working for reg. stores and stuff doing reception and secretarial jobs that pay very little. Some went back to school, and are still working crappy jobs. Some... I have no idea where they went..

I'm 39 and graduated in 1985. Most of the people I knew left the small town we grew up in and went on to bigger and better things. In order to succeed, you must take risks sometimes. Some of my classmates stayed in the same little town and haven't accomplished anything but a financially depressed lifestyle, chemical dependency, and abuse. It saddens me, but I moved on 20 years ago to accomplish better things for myself. And I didn't even bother going to the 20 year reunion last year.

I actually just talked to one on the phone last night. She still lives in my very small hometown, and gets drunk/smokes pot most every night. She has a five-year old daughter, and was dropping the F-bomb and other words right in front of her while talking to me on the phone. She works in a minimum wage job, VERY small apt., and no future. Used to be very overweight, but lost most of it due to a cocaine habit. Last night I asked her what she did last weekend, and she said, "Mike (guy from HS) came over and we drank and took some Ativan to get high." What a winner. She wants me to come visit when I go there over Xmas, don't think so!!!

Going nowhere, doing nothing.
The one voted most likely to succeed in acting is an accountant.
Most talented runs his father's carpet-cleaning business.
Most popular has done jail time for drug dealing (although that is why he was most popular)

*shrugs* I don't know what happened to most of them. I graduated with more than 1400 other seniors. Let me know if you find them, I'd like to see how they're doing.
