I just got a little black and tan Daschshund a couple of weeks ago,We named him Romeo but Rocky,Lucky,Oscar,Gizmo or something like that.

what u name him could ether be decided by his looks or his attitude, most people name them after there animals attitude, (or u can go to google.com and type in "dogs names" and a lot of websites will comeup thats how i named my dogs)
