What! That is definitely normal! I don't know why some people think their turtle is sick when they do this! Look, as disgusting as it sounds, it is perfectly normal. A lot of them do that for the nutrients that they didn't digest completely the first round. All you can do is just look the other way, so don't worry about it. :)

How can I put this?? If you ate your own waste for one day,, the next day you'd have horribly bad breath,, a pissy attitude,, and you'd feel like shiit.!!!!

ew...that's just nasty....but now I'm wondering too...yuck!
I know urine is sterile and you could drink it...but I don't thiink "waste" is safe to ingest.
