U mean you want to re-discover your family ? Or do you already know their contacts and want to know the best way to communicate with them ? I think its the former. I reckon you need to visit India and to your grandfathers' home town to be able to work this out.

Use Yahoo Messenger or Skype to talk to your family. They must have a computer, but it is FREE! I use it to talk to my family back in the United States, and right now I'm living in China. It is wonderful what technology can do now!

it is been awhile, what city? small city chaces are you find something.....his passport might have some old address on it, His birth certificate.....any other family member names....
BTw the proper spelling of name is Manzoor Rehman Shiekh.
probably a muslim by religion, from a affluent family to able to travel to columbia. worth a try.
