Conduct yourself in a respectable matter. Wisdom atracts those willing to listen, so if they won't listen then don't bother. You can't talk to someone who won't listen. Keep in mind though, you don't find god, god finds you. What ever god has in store for this person, you don't fully know. If they need help, then make it know you can help and wait for them to ask. There is no point to further a conversation if someone is putting you down, there mind is made up and there isn't anything you can say to change that. Only life doing what it does will change that mind. Try not to worry to much.

Sometimes the best way to show Christ to someone is to simply live it before them. The Word says in 2 Timothy 2: 24-25 "And the sevant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instrcting those that oppose themselevs; if God perasventure will give them repentance to the acknowledge of the truth;" As followers of Christ we also must understand that man is opposed to his own salvation. Don't give up hope. Another word of incougement from Matthew 5: 44 "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;" I hope this helps.

First know that we can't make anyone believe. God commands us to tell people about him. Once we follow that commandment, it's up to God to take over. You just have to share the gospel and what he has done for you. You ultimately are NOT responsible for his eternal status if you have done all you can do. You planted the seed..you just have to pray for him and hope that he sees the truth and accepts God. I Truly believe that if you plant the seed, God will send along someone else to water and fertilize it. God says it's our duty as a Christian to tell others about him..if he chooses not to accept..it's his fate.

Through prayer. Bring the issue to God. He can work miracles! God uses what seems like impossible situations to bring glory to Him! It's truly incredible. Think of David and Goliath, and Moases at the Red Sea, Abraham and Sarah...all stories where God makes miracles out of impossible situations!
Continue to befreind this person. Let your life shine as an example for this person...and hopefully their heart will be softened to know and accept Christ as their Lord and Savior. Our lifestyles as Christians should bring glory to Him. Hopefully your love and patience with this person will spark interest!
And don't be discouraged. Even the Son of God was persecuted!
Keep it up tho! What a wonderful friend you are to want to lead someone to Christ! God bless! Ill keep you in prayer

Hi,
First of all make your point to your friend, but don't become pushy about it. What can happen is they will dig there heals in and then they will never let it happen. I have seen this happen before to people. If your friend puts you down, let it be like water off a ducks back.
What I find interesting is when you hear of people who don't believe in God or Jesus start praying to God and Jesus when they think there air craft is about to crash. Please don't try that one.....LOL

Continue in prayer for them, and when you witness, make sure it isn't forced, but a natural part of the conversation.
There was an early church father whose name was Augustine. He was a scholar and a cad, and his mother was a Christian. He continued in pagan revelry for quite some time.
His mom would go to her bishop, and complain that her prayers were unanswered. The bishop told her to continue in prayer, as "...it is not possible that the son of so many tears should perish."
Jesus also told us to be persistent in prayer (Luke 18). So continue in prayer, and seek opportunities to share your faith in a natural way.

If someone doesn't believe in Jesus, don't try to "bring" that person to Jesus. Embracing Christ should be a personal choice.

Well you don't and you just stop having much of anything to do with each other. Maybe they (wrongly) put you down because you won't leave them along about bringing them to Jesus and they are tired of it.

You stand to risk losing a friend if you do that...just as that person may lose you as a friend by belittling your belief.
The best thing you can do here is to "agree to disagree". Leave the topic of religion out of any interactions you may have.
