This question is perhaps the only question that I don't have an answer to. It IS a good question. What was God doing during the holocaust while millions of people were getting killed along with their children.

I guess this is where I have to have faith that God knows exactly what he is doing. I guess God does work in mysterious ways and I would be the first to admit that most of the time I am lost by some of the things he allows to happen.

Probably crying at the wickedness His children were displaying. Could He step in and stop them? Sure He could but that would destroy His plan for us to learn by using our agency and making our own mistakes. We cannot learn right from wrong if we have not choices. Evil people make wrong choices and will be held accountable in Heaven when they go before the judgment bar of God. God does care and the innocents that suffer from the mistakes of others will be blessed by Him at the last day. There is justice, even if we can't see it here and now.

Which god are you referring to? The nazi god was tellign them what to do. In this case, that would be hitler. As for the other one...I have yet so encouter any proof that he exists. With all the bad killing that's been going on over so many years adn all of them senseless, we're expected to be believe that he's real? That it's all in his master plan? Right....but then again. he is the one that sacrified his 'only son.' and he is the one that told biblical people to pur their infants over fire to prove tehir devotion to him....he was probably just doing some Yoga to pass the time.

But seriously, nobody's god had anything to do with any of that. Hitler and his twisted view of perction and his little zombie followers did.

It's kind of odd though...Hitler's view of the perfect German was tall, blue eyed, blonde, blah blah blah...though he was the exact opposite...and the people still followed....interesting...

So anyways, the only god that was there was Hitler. I mean, he obviously saw himself as one and his little minions didn't seem to disagree.

you should be asking where god was when that little prick mengele got away for the next 30 years. he drowned later on. nothign compared to getting off sewing twins together to see what would happen. not much justice there. but the minions and their minions were on his side. and it was all started by his god. hitler.

If the Holocaust had not have happened, Israel as a nation would not exist. The Holocaust was terrible, but that's what it produced. The world only pitied the Jews because of the Holocaust. Had it never happened, then the world would say, "Why do you want a nation?"
I believe in the Bible and Israel is an important nation. Everything that happens happens for a reason.

these children go straight to heaven. also he was letting life take its course. god gives you freedoum of choice to do what ever. if you dont belive in that isnt it your choice. wouldnt god want you to belive that, but you choose not to. isnt that freedoum of choice.if death is such a punishment then you have something your soul is hidding. your mind, you know that once you die you are scard of whats ahead. do you wonder why people die and what is after death. if you truely belive that god lets people die then you must belive in an afterlife. every one shall taste death wether they die peacefuly or broutalliy.everyone.

I'm not religious, but I heard other people defend God by saying that he was letting people make mistakes, even if it meant a few sacrifices that will be compensated with in heaven. *shrug*
