Thanks! So far your answers are making me feel better about the human race! :) A christian asked a similar question of atheists a few minutes ago and your answers are very similar to theirs.

I have loved ones that are atheists.I would keep my mouth shut until that person wants me to do otherwise. When they do they know where to find me.
I would of course pray for that person, out of love and repsect.

Continue to love them. It is an intellectually respectable position so I would probably hold them in higher esteem because they consciously made such a decision. The same would be true if an athiest became a Christian.

Someone I love very much started to doubt our religious beliefs for a short time. I prayed for my loved one day and night until that person's mind was changed.

I would continue to share God's truth with them IN LOVE and pray for them daily....I would ask God to help me a light to them- and to speak through me and give me wisdom when I am talking to them---

1 Peter 3:12
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer...."

I would witness to him/her. But not push it on them. Most of all, I would pray for them. There is nothing stronger than the power of prayer God loves knee mail.

That's pretty much my life already. It sucks but all I can do is pray for them and try to live Christ's love as best as I can.

I would still love them, but I would pray for them. One of my best friends here at college is an athiest. It hasn't changed how I care about her

I have an atheist daughter and it saddens me. Just answer questions when she asks, otherwise, not much I can do. I can't choose for her.
