lol the brown snakes like the most deadly in australia! it would kill a human easy. as if i would take the snake with me to the vet! my dogs doing fine at the moment should pick her up tomorow.

Well that depends although most people think snakes are all non poisionous they always have a certain level of poision in them. If this is the 5th or 6th time your dog has been bitten then yah chances are like 70 30 now because the venom takes almost a full year to leave your system but if its only the second time your chances are better than fifty fifty, my advice keep your dog away from brown snakes from now on.

Did you take the snake with you to the vet? Is this a common snake in your area? Do you know the name of the snake or is it just called the brown snake. If it just the brown snake they do give off a musk not a venom. I do not believe these are poisonous snakes. They are like the common grass snake or Gardner Snake. No need to worry!
There are alot of different kinds of brown snakes if you are talking about color. Do a search on the computer you'll find the answers you need. Need not to worry! Good luck!

What are some other characteristics of the snake? What area of the country do you live in(not specifics, just a general area).
I'm assuming you live in the U.S. and most snakes in N.America are non venomous.

their 50 50. although if u got medicine for the bite her chances of living will improve greatly.
