i think thats a stupid question

Canada is fighting in Afghanistan, which they're basically doing to fulfill their obligations to NATO. They are loyal allies, fighting with your country when it's justified. Their young people die, and become enemies of Muslims in the process, to help you fight _your_ war. Ungrateful a**hole -- this is your war, not theirs.

As far as Iraq goes, right now it seems like Canadian government wasn't stupid enough to send their young people to die for the Saudis, Halliburton, the oil companies and other assorted Bu$h family friends (the war wasn't for WMDs or to fight the War on Terror).

That war has been stupid, pointless and patently motivated by greed, and somehow, the VAST majority of the world (not just Canada) saw the Iraq War for what it was, and continues to be: a total farce. How many horrendous dictators are terrorizing their people in the world right now? You don't think that Iraq's oil has anything to do with that war? Was it really liberating an oppressed people, because you're all just so darn selfless and caring?

Ignorant wanker.

There are no troops in Iraq, Canada troops play a vital role in the coalition forces in Afghanistan.

I also want to point out that is it completely distasteful to insult the troops who are fighting a war for the safety of your nation. Canadian forces are highly trained individuals who have a history of excellence in battle.

wow, when things go bad for you, you start questioning Canada's motive?
Why don't you question your own government's motive?
When Bush took a huge left turn from the War on Terror in A-Stan, Canada was already fighting the Taliban there.

Canada, and several other NATO countries did not see any relationship to connect Iraq to the Taliban. Why did your government insist there was a connection.
And why were Americans so ready to believe in the connection without any proof to back up the Bush claim?
Your country has become a laughing stock, and the people in it as idiots.
Do I win the best post?

They are in Afghanistan. Don't be dissing the Canadian troops. They just lost a few good men a couple of weeks ago in Afghanistan.

As for them being heavily armed boy scouts, they do their best with the military budget they have.

They are not in iraq becasue they actually have smart people in their gov. That think before doing something.

Just becasue they don't have a military that is as good as the US doesn't give you the right to call the "boy scouts"

Right now our soldiers ore out there fighting and dying, cleaning up your mess, and you have the gall to call them boy scouts?!? Shame on you! We have lost several very good men and women in the line of duty, and our country grieves, yet understands.
I guess understanding isn't in your vocabulary...
