Is HPN (White Plains) a less comfortable airport from which to take a first flight?

I heard that it is pretty windy.

its not bad. I like the convenience of that airport. Since, its small you can get in and out of there pretty quickly as oppossed to larger airports (think of the train system you have to use at Newark to get from parking to the terminal). The wind is not bad. Honestly, I have not noticed a difference in landing compared to other airports

I've only used it once. I had no problem from wind; I just found it a small, crowded airport and it was a pain getting there by bus (I wasn't going to pay them $20 per day for parking).
