Yikes! I could write a book on this, depending on what aspect of my faith and religion you want to talk about. But when it all comes down to it, something about Christianity (and for me, Catholic Christianity) just "clicks" deep inside me. I can sense truth in the teachings and find the liturgies to be a fulfilling way to outwardly express my faith. I've done a lot of study and reflection on it, and for me, it just fits.

1) I prayed, alot. You have to at least give it a chance.
2) Regardless of what religion I had adhered to, I've always felt drawn to the beauty of Christian worship.
3) I felt drawn towards God and Jesus.
4) I read the Bible prayerfully, and the contradictions and my other problems with the Bible no longer seem contradictory or problematic.
More than, anything, though, I'd say, is the feeling I've always had. I've tried to get rid of it. I've tried to do my own thing. I've tried atheism and secularism but in the end, I still felt empty on the inside.

Dear Myaloo,
The Bible says that, here is non that seeketh after God. This means that no person of his own accord will seek after the God of the Bible (Jesus Christ). Man is spiritually dead in sins and trespasses just as a corpse in the morgue (Ephesians 2:1-3). We read in John 11 of the raising of Lazarus from the dead. Lazarus was a stinking corpse (he was dead for 4 days), and Jesus came and said, "Lazarus, come forth." How could that dead body hear, let alone obey the command of Jesus? The Lord had to go into that tomb and give that dead body breath in his lungs, ears to hear, a will to obey, and strength to move. Lazarus could not do any of those things--the Lord had to do all of it. So it is with salvation, Christ does ALL the work. Man could not do anything because Titus 3:5 and Ephesians 2:8, 9 tells us this.
The Lord chose those whom He was going to save before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:3-6). This means that God knows exactly who is going to be saved but we do not know. The Lord commanded that His Gospel should go out into the entire world because this is the method by which God works. Romans 10:17 states, "So then, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God." Faith is a synonym for the Lord Jesus so we can write so then, Christ cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. If God is going to save a person, it will be in the environment of hearing the word of God--the Bible. That is why if one is not saved, he should read the Bible and pray to the Lord to have mercy on him because the Lord is very merciful.
But Myaloo please note that the Bible says "For many are called, but few are chosen." We cannot order the Lord to do anything...He is God. We just must wait patiently. Also know that there are many false gospels out there today (Galatians 1). Many people who claim to be saved (born again; good, etc.) are deceiving themselves as we read in Matthew 7:21-23. Just keep on reading your Bible and praying to the Lord.

By the Grace of God & in Jesus name I was healed from incurable degenarative terminal illness - ALS (MND). I was on the verge of being admitted to a Hospice & placed an order for the delivery of an electrical wheelchair.
I went to see Medium Joao in Abadiania, Brazil where first hand had few extraordinary & unexplainable by "modern science" experiences. Being born in a communist country & raised by non religious parents now I'm a proud Christian.
Today I no longer have that dreadful illness, I'm mobile & healthy.
Thank you God!
Love & blessings!

From Biblical teachings, and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.I know without a doubt that He saved my soul. Some non-believers think Christians can't do anything that is fun. We can do anything we want to - but once we've been saved our "wants" change and our life is full of happiness and joy.

i was raised catholic and from youth went to mass on a regular basis, i went to catholic school etc. for a while(few years) i remained catholic and believed the teachings but did not go to mass or practice Catholicism in any way. since 2 and a half years ago i began researching and reading more about my faith and church, now regularly attend mass, read my bible and other books related to the faith and teachings. i am very happy now and have received many blessings. another reason i started becoming more active and practicing is the strong hatred toward the church i have encountered in America, i was raised in Ireland. the fullnes of truth and the spirit within the catholic church is awesome. it works for me and i feel very comfortable. i have been to other churches and know people from a range of churches and the catholic church is the only one that answers all my questions and the only one i feel the true presence of the spirit in, not insulting others but that is my personal relationship with me,god and the church. god bless.

Research and not blindly believing what churches tried to tell me to believe. I may believe a bit differently than most organized denominations, but I think I'm a stronger christian for not blindly listening to any of them.

God proved Himself to me by delivering me from thing that made me suffer for over half my life. The day I listened the Christ was the beginning of a whole new life. My worst day as a christian is better than my best day as an unbeliever.
We are worth a Son to God.

I saw the Lord in my neighbours, a preacher and his family.....at first I thought they were weird, then I saw they were true genuine people who had a relationship with the Almighty God, and I wanted that!! I started asking questions, and they began to share the Word with me and it wasn't long before I felt convicted of my sin and the need to seek forgiveness.....the rest, as they say is history!!
