There is a program provided by schools that will give you the chance to travel here to the U.S. and study in one of the high schools. I had met a few different people from overseas while in school, never from egypt though. The program should set you up with a family to take care of you while you are here in the States. If your school offers the program then I would most definitly recommend it for you. I've been told that it is a most wonderful experience.

As a high school student, I should be able to answer that question. For me, some classes are Spanish, Theatre, Geometry, Biology, World History I, and Chorus. I have English of course, because it is required as well. I have taken Earth Science and Algebra prior to this year. Some of my friends take World Geography, Oceanography, Photography, ROTC, German, French, Journalism, and Art.
I truly hope this helps your friend.

Pointless non-sense is pretty much what we study in American highschools. I learned most beneficial, and important knowledge that I think everyone should know, from the history channel.
I didn't learn much of anything in school. I didn't even learn anything about the important History of Texas until I moved there, and didn't learn anything about hispanic culture until I dated a hispanic girl. I learn only about basic American history, European and European decendant history. The only thing about Black history I learned was Martin Luther King and Malcom X, and simply slavery knowledge that didn't even graze the surface when black history goes far beyong that.

Hello illamoon!
I am guessing you are a Canadian.
In America they study almost the exact same things as in Canada. The only difference I can think of is we use different systems (Canadians use the Metric system).
I hope this helps your Friend!
