how can MRI be OK if you know that you have a swollen optic nerve? or is it OK besides the optic nerve? secondly, you need to be in touch with a neurologist for further eval and treatment. Increased intracranial pressure would be the first bet but that would show some chages on the MRI, other reasons could include local nerve damage etc, also consider seeing an opthalmologist, good luck
