I have almost all of her gifts purchased; however, I am at a loss, except for small books, as to what to put into her stocking. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks!

I bought her a DVD that I could put in the stocking. She got the entire set of Baby Einstein DVD's last year from Santa. DVD's and CD's and socks are a great idea. I, too, may toss some Gerber finger foods in there. Thanks for the ideas thus far!

New toothbrush, Rattles, toy car (small toddler ones), box of raisins (hey, to them it's like candy), small travel/ stoller toys (they have little ones at KB toys that would fit into a stocking nicely), Baby Einstein DVD, Little People (you can get just the people in a small box that would fit in a stocking (I think Kohls has them). Good luck. Christmas at this age is so fun because they're old enough now to get excited over the presents.

Don't forget the orange in the toe, and maybe some of her favourite healthy snacks to tide her by the present opening. Perhaps a special ornament, with the date. That could become a tradition for her - getting a new ornament in her stocking each year that she hangs on the tree Christmas morning and building the collection so that when she leaves home she has a whole tree full of special memories.

Little People! Last year I found tubes of about 3-4 little people characters that were perfect for a stocking. We also put hair ties and barettes in my daughters stocking last year (she was 16 months at Christmas)

Peek-a-boo blocks! They're great! They have all kinds- the balls, stacky kinds, or blocks... my son loves them! They have certain things inside them-some you can move with your finger- my son will stare at them, and play with them forever.
