I really need something to report to my credit file. I am looking for the dates of the month that information is updated to the three credit reporting agencies, and when does it post to my credit file?

If this is a new credit account, you can expect to wait 2 to 3 months for information to appear on your credit report. For new accounts, the creditor has no information to report until you are potentially late on a payment. This means you may have to wait for 2 complete billing cycles before any reporting will be done. You should contact your creditor to find out what their practice is.

Depends on the creditor.

Some report monthly.

Some report bimonthly.

Some report annually.

Some never report.

If you are really needing it done, you can do a rapid rescore, or just call the creditor and ask when they are going to report.

Each creditor reports on their own schedule. Judging from weekly checks of my our report, most seem to report on the monthly statement date.

It depends on the company. Some companies report monthly, some bi-monthly, and some quarterly.
