if you don't even have money to buy a dog, how are you going to take care of a dog...food, vaccines, other vet care if the dog gets sick, travel expenses and competition fees for dog shows. And you say you only want to dog to earn enough to buy a house!?? Please do not get a dog...sounds like all you want to do is make money off this animal and could not care less about it's care or well being.

You can't be serious. You will not be able to buy a house from dog show prizes.... Not to mention, you aren't going to find a show quality dog for $500.
Study, go to college, get a good job, and buy a house. Then maybe, get a dog...

Uhh lets see... you want to buy a dog to get prize money from dog shows to buy yourself a house. You'd better want to live in the dog house on those wages! I don't know of any venue where a novice starting could win that much cash right away, especially when you need to train your dog first.
You've got quite a challenge ahead of you, but good luck.

There are many things you can do at your age. Number one that comes to mind is to babysit. Fill out your name and address, phone number on a 3 x 5 card and put it on the bulletin board of your local grocery store, pharmacy or a public place where people would notice it.
If there are elderly people in your area, and you are within walking distance to a grocery store or pharmacy, you could offer to do their grocery shopping or pick up a prescription for them.
Depending upon where you live, if it snows, you could offer to shovel their walkway, sidewalk, porch during storms.
I hope this gives you some ideas. I know when you want extra money at your age, and are willing to work for it, it can be difficult to find something age appropriate. Good Luck!
