go to petfinder.com.....this is a site for rescue groups.....just enter your Zip code, and be AMAZED at how many choices you have !!.....this should provide you with the names of local rescue groups for birds, specifically pigeons....good luck to you !!

Hi susan,
Okay. First of all I admire your passion. Bless all of the Rescuers!
The closest place I know of that could at least get you information on this is Foster Parrots in Boston. Marc Johnson is the Director there and while he might not be able to help you directly, he might be able to point you in the right direction. But his concern is Parrot Rescue and this isn't necessarily in his area.

In the meantime, have you considered locating the local Wildlife Rescue Center?
I've found a pile of them here since I don't know where you are in the State.

Hopefully, this directory will get you the information you need, the care that your bird deserves and the peace of mind we all want.
Good Luck and I hope I've helped you.
With Respect,
Phoenix
