Ok I went to the mall today, and my brother in law was with a co-worker... he did get my attention, he wasn't hidding, and he introduced me as his sister in law (although I can be his sister in law by being married to his brother as well) I don't know what story he told this coworker of his... should I tell my sister? and if yes, how can I tell my sister without making it seem like I thought the worse? Or should I believe him and drop it since its none of my business? What would you do in my situation... tell her or not?

I can be his sister in law either by me being married to his brother, or him being married to my sister. He wasn't wearing his wedding ring, but then again, I've never noticed if he EVER wears it, I'm going to see him this weekend, see if he has it on!

Let's assume that the whole thing was innocent and you just happened to see him with another person. Wouldn't it be natural for you to mention to your sister that you ran across your brother-in-law at the mall? Then leave it at that unless your sister starts to ask question, then just answer them without judgment. "Oh, well he was with a co-worker, but I really didn't think much of it." This way you aren't involved by alluding to anything other than the fact that you saw him. Your sister can draw her own conclusions, while if her husband is doing something, then its his action that got him busted, not your action of simply saying what you saw. No worries...then let it go.

It sounds like a totally innocent conversation. Was he wearing his wedding ring at the time? If so then you shouldn't worry. If not, then tell your sister that you were at the mall and ran in to him and were introduced to a coworker. If there is a problem then let her handle it.

No they would possibly not be your sister n legislation simply better halves of your brother n legislation however you'll nonetheless name them your sister n legislation no damage in that. Cousins, Uncles and Aunts are simply aspect of the household. Grandfather and Grandmother are also referred to as in legislation.

What situation? He is married to your sister which makes you his sister-in-law and he is your
brother-in-law. In-law means by marriage. It is nothing to ruin a marriage over.

I'm not really understanding you, do you think something is going on between him and the coworker?
You are his sister-in-law...no harm in saying so!

As long as he didn't seem fidgety or nervous- keep you nose out of it.
