I DID and will always adopt from a Animal shelter. I never said my ***** was a pure breed. She's a mixed breed dog who was left on a bench at 6 months old and pregnant in the rain. I took her in to my home I helped with the pups, and when she turned 21 months I breed her with my mixed breed male ( whom I adopted at 4 months). That pregnancy and her first one (which I couldn't control because I didn't even own her), where the only pregnancies I wanted. The last two were mistakes. The products of my neighbor's eagar old male stud. Like I said I had two different fences installed at two diferent times to prevent this. I could stay home and live of of my husband's earnings but I choose to work. For that reason I can't always be there to watch the dogs. When my husband or myself is home everything is under control. Its during the day when everyone's at work, that the NEIGHBOR'S dog invades my yard and my dog. She came with 1 litter, I planned 1 litter, & the neighbor's dog did the rest. OK

Shame on you. You are selfish and irresponsible. You DON'T breed non-purebred animals. Pure & simple. And even those should only be done with Champion animals to improve the breed. PERIOD. I haven't read the other 5 parts of your ridiculous saga, but you are a terrible dog owner. Get all your dogs fixed ASAP and stop this cycle of homeless and killed dogs. YOU are the reason the 2-5 million unwanted dogs are killed in shelters each year. Shame on you. If you want puppies, go to a reputable animals rescue group and get some. Don't leave your dogs unfixed and producing offspring every two minutes. You've left them open to a whole host of health problems (like testicular cancer, ovarian cancer, prostate cancer, uterin cancer, etc) because of your stupidity and greed. Get your dogs FIXED RIGHT NOW!

It's not your neighbor's fault. It's yours. If you can't be responsible enough to have your dog spayed, then it's your own fault. If you aren't responsible enough to keep your dogs safe and secure while you are gone, then it's your fault. "I'm at work" is not an excuse. If you can't protect your dogs, then you shouldn't have them.

Or is this a joke by some attention fiend? I just can't imagine anyone being stupid enough to choose to breed a homeless dog and then leave her outside, in heat, and around unaltered males.

Lady, if you spent half the time thinking about what you doing rather than writing these ridiculous rants, you would know you are in the wrong. You have changed your stories. We know that adopting from the ASPCA in NY is agreeing to either a written guarantee that you will spay the animal as soon as she is able or it was spay when you got her. Most shelters will not even adopt out a pregnant animal; they will either abort the puppies or foster the female til she gives birth and then when the puppies are ready, give them for adoption too. So, you are either lying or in violation of a written agreement.

You are angry at your neighbour's dog for coming over and doing what dogs do when a female is in heat. That is called "calling the kettle black". You cant have it all both ways.

No one can make you not breed your dog. If you want to that is your option. But you don`t sound like you are enjoying the experience, so please do yourself and the dog a favor and have her spayed. Call around at all your local vets and find the best price, make an appt. and DO it, it isn`t that hard, and it doesn`t HAVE to be expensive, although it can be. Your dog would be a better, healthier pet and you won`t have to worry about anymore unplanned pregnancies. Anyways what is your question?
And if you adopted your dog, how come the animal shelter didn`t require you to have him neutered? Being pregnant at 6 months! Poor little dog, sounds like she has already had enough in the reproducing scene.

I agree the with guy below me. There's a simple solution to your problem, and you can continue to work and do what you've been doing. GET HER FIXED! you need to think about the dogs invloved. Did all the puppies get adopted from good people and have good home to go to? How old is the mother now? Seems like it has been a lot of pregnancies for such a young dog, as a matter of fact, for any dog of any age it is a lot. You should really be more responsible and stop redirecting the blame.

You are one of the worst pet owners I have ever heard of. You knowingly leave your female dog exposed to any strange dog that comes along in an unsecured area. If your neighbors dog keeps coming into your yard it is obviously not secure. Try keeping an eye on your dog when she is outside instead of leaving her alone all day unsupervised. If you must leave a dog tied out, why not tie out the male who CAN'T get pregnant. If you won't be home to supervise them, and you refuse to spay/neuter your pets, and you actually go out of your way to breed them... well you don't even deserve to have them. and FYI the NYC ASPCA supports spay/neutering as an effective form of animal population control, even early age altering. I highly doubt they would think you are a responsible pet owner when you keep letting your female dog get pregnant time and time again, sometimes DELIBERATELY. Here is an idea, why don't you contact THEM and see what they think of your irresponsible antics.

This is why they make covered dog runs.

You have gotten yourself all in a bunch. What did you expect?

For us to say SURE go ahead and breed the life out of your dog? You are blaming everyone except yourself.

Your neighbor is only at fault for allowing his dog to roam free. It is not his fault for knocking up your dog.

If you live in a large city I'm sure they have a law prohibiting female dogs in heat to be outside. They are only allowed out supervised and long enough to re leave themselves.

As for the carpet. This to is why they make crates.

So take a chill pill.

2 mistakes? You are the most irresponsible dog owner ever, spay the effing dog, since you apparently can't keep her from getting pregnant. You are a very ignorant person who is p*ssed off, because we can all see that and call you on it. Grow up and BE RESPONSIBLE and get the dog spayed.

Have your female dog spayed and the male neutered immediately. Too many pregnancies will be bad for the dog.

It became for me! I took some paracetamol at night so as that i could desire to sleep and tried to sidestep painkillers something of the time. The issues have been horrific, yet now that i'm 10 weeks, they seem to have eased off for the positioned up area.
