Yes. My sister had a cat, and I literally sneezed every couple minutes. But my friend had a cat also, I never sneezed. I think it depends on how often someone vacuums and/or cleans. I also think it depends on what type of hair the cat has, long or short hair.

If you're talking about different cats in each house, then the answer is yes. You could be allergic to one type fur and not another, or there might be more allergens built up in one house, like cat hair, etc.

Yes. All cats have dander. If one person does not keep up with his/her dusting or vacuuming and there is a build up of dander and/or hair, then even the most unallergic person might need to sneeze. However, if a person keeps up with his/her house and keeps it clean, then it wouldn't be as bad. Sometimes these things are affected by the weather, breed of cat and general health of the affected person, too.

Absolutely. The person's body may not be allergic to the saliva and dander of the other cats.
I know people who are horribly allergic to other peoples' cats, but not to their own. It's all about building up immunity and the chemical composition of the other cat's saliva/dander. : )

Yes...
It all depends on what type of cat they have and you have...
I have a friend who is allergic to all cats, but when he came over he wasn't allergic to my cat which is a siamese cat... so it all depends on what type of cat they have...

Yes,
One person may clean the home with a better vac more often, and one may also have air filters that work!
